Meet Oswald!
Introducing our latest foster puppy, Oswald, more commonly known as Ozzy! A photo I snapped of Ozzy on my DSLR camera. Tried to have a little photoshoot in the backyard, but he was too fixated on a stick he found to give me many good poses! Ozzy is currently about 4 months old, and we thinkkk he’s a pit (possibly Staffy?) mix. His ears have thrown me through a loop, though— sometimes pits do have ears like his, but I’m wondering if he has something else mixed with him that’s

Katie Bug is still looking for a furever home!
Little Katie Bug (aka Buggie, Nubbins, Stinky Nubs) is, incredibly, still with us and still looking for her furever home! She is 17 lbs of ice cube-loving, nub-wagging, toy-chewing, backyard-zooming cuteness 🥰 She is a little shy when meeting new people, but that doesn’t last long. Latest foster pup, Katie
Sweet Miss Katie bug has a BIG personality packed into a tiny body! She’s curious and observant and always wants to know what’s going on… but once she gets her energy out, she’s ready for a nap on your lap (or snuggled up as close to you as possible). Avril found her furever home this week!
Avril (Avvy) went to her new home this week!!! As one of our toughest (but most rewarding) fosters yet, I am soo happy to see her land in the most perfect, loving forever home. She has a new adult dog sister named Lexi who sounds like the perfect “tour guide” to her new life. Her new mom says Avvy is adjusting slowly (as expected), but is getting warmed up to her new space. I’m sure she will continue making steady progress and she becomes the brave, smart, sweet girl I alread

Foster puppy progress
We have been making slow but steady progress progress with our current foster puppy, Avril. She started off terrified, scared of humans and just about any loud noises or sudden movements. Pets and attention? No way. Toys? No thanks, just trying to survive. Treats? Maybe, but definitely not from your hand. Now, she’ll let us pet her (doesn’t love it, but she’ll easily allow it). She has 1 bone she likes chewing on— no other toys yet, but she likes her dear antler. She LOVES g
