Included:

Tools/Equipment Required: 

1. ½” socket wrench

Preparation

1. Establish a clean and clear workspace.

2. Open the package and remove the windshield brace from packaging.

3. Gather required tools/equipment, as listed above.

Installing the windshield brace

1. Locate the two bolts at the bottom of either side of the windshield (see Figure 1).

2. Completely remove both bolts. Be sure to keep to the bolts, washers, and nuts as they will be reused. Do not remove the rubber gasket.

3. Locate the windshield brace that was removed from packaging during preparation.

4. Note the white plastic protectant strip on the back of the brace—remove this prior to installation. This will expose the soft foam that will contact the windshield.

5. Position the brace on the inside of the windshield, resting on the gasket for support (see Figure 2 and Figure 3).

6. Replace the bolts, washers, and nuts into the holes with the gaskets and tighten completely.

7. Installation of the windshield brace is complete.
