Front clay basket
4 hex bolts
4 washers
Tools/Equipment Required:
½” socket wrench
Hex wrench
Razor blade or scissors
WD-40 (optional)
Breaker bar (optional)
Preparation
Establish a clean and clear workspace.
Open the package and remove the clay basket and equipment.
Gather required tools/equipment, as listed above.
Installing the basket supports
Locate the two mounting brackets that will support the basket on the front of the cart (see Figure 1).
Starting on either the driver or passenger side, flip up the rubber gasket on the bottom of the windshield to locate the two bolts that will need to be unscrewed (see Figure 2).
Using the ½” wrench, completely remove the upper bolt.
Unscrew the bottom bolt just enough to fit the mounting bracket into the gap (see Figure 2).
Place the mounting bracket so that the support arm is facing the front of the cart, and the lower hook is mounted on the partially-unscrewed bolt (see Figure 3).
Replace the top bolt, using the socket to tighten thoroughly.
Tighten the lower bolt using the socket.
Pull the rubber windshield gasket back down over the mounting bracket.
Use a razor blade or scissors to cut a slit where the support arm extends from the mount (see Figure 4).
Repeat steps 2-9 on the other side of the cart (see Figure 5).
Installing the basket
Set the basket on the two mounted support arms (see Figure 6).
Line up the four pre-drilled holes in the basket with the holes of the support arms.
Start the 4 bolts (with washers) in the holes. Recommend to start all 4 bolts before tightening to ensure alignment (see Figure 7).
Using a hex wrench, thoroughly tighten all 4 bolts.
Installation of the front clay basket is complete (see Figure 8).
