Beginner iPhone Instructions
I recently created a short set of very-beginner-level iPhone instructions for my aunt Trish. I gave her my old iPhone 7, which is a model that has the Home button (newer iPhones no longer have a Home button), so these instructions are based around the use of a Home button and include diagrams. Enjoy!

Katie Bug is still looking for a furever home!
Little Katie Bug (aka Buggie, Nubbins, Stinky Nubs) is, incredibly, still with us and still looking for her furever home! She is 17 lbs of ice cube-loving, nub-wagging, toy-chewing, backyard-zooming cuteness 🥰 She is a little shy when meeting new people, but that doesn’t last long. Once she realizes you also love to give her attention, it’s game over. She loves her people and will follow you around the house waiting for pets (or maybe she’s just waiting for you to take your

Latest foster pup, Katie
Sweet Miss Katie bug has a BIG personality packed into a tiny body! She’s curious and observant and always wants to know what’s going on… but once she gets her energy out, she’s ready for a nap on your lap (or snuggled up as close to you as possible). Katie bonds quickly with her people and LOVES being close to her person— whether that’s following you around the house, claiming her spot on the couch, or snuggling up for a nap. She has short bursts of energy, which only help p

Play Jeopardy with your friends!
I recently spent a fair amount of time creating a Jeopardy template in Excel. The main goal of this little project was just for my me and my friends to a have a fun way to play a game with trivia about ourselves, but since I've invested a decent amount of time on this, I want to share (and get feedback!). You don't need to be an Excel whiz to play; I've designed this to be as user-friendly as I could using VBA macros. That being said, if you encounter any issues, please reach

Opening day of rifle season— SUCCESS!
Gabe has been preparing for hunting season the last few months, putting out corn and salt blocks religiously. We tried going out during archery season with no luck— we saw a few small does but nothing worth taking aim at (we will let them graze and get ready for next year 🙂). This weekend was opening weekend for rifle in Maryland. Friday evening, corn was put out alongside the salt block Gabe had laid out earlier, and on Saturday we got up well before dawn to drive to my fam

Avril found her furever home this week!
Avril (Avvy) went to her new home this week!!! As one of our toughest (but most rewarding) fosters yet, I am soo happy to see her land in the most perfect, loving forever home. She has a new adult dog sister named Lexi who sounds like the perfect “tour guide” to her new life. Her new mom says Avvy is adjusting slowly (as expected), but is getting warmed up to her new space. I’m sure she will continue making steady progress and she becomes the brave, smart, sweet girl I alread
